As Chairmen of the twenty-one Local Government Areas of Kogi State clocks one year in Office, they have been encouraged to double their efforts at delivering more democracy dividends to the people at the Grassroots.
Founder and National Coordinator of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, Chief Richard Asaje, in a Congratulatory Message, commended the LGA Chairmen for their efforts so far, describing their relationship with the people at the Grassroots as cordial.
The elder statesman specifically congratulated the Chairmen of the seven LGAs in Kogi West including Kabba/Bunu, Mopa Muro, Ijumu, Yagba East, Yagba West, Kogi/Koton Karfe and Lokoja, for how far they have sustained leadership at the Grassroots.
He said the Chairmen plays significant roles at ensuring the security of lives and property of the people at the Grassroots, noting that their efforts deserves commendation.
Chief Asaje noted that despite pockets of challenges in some Areas, they have shown capacity by tackling them headlong with support from the State Government and ensure peace is returned to their Areas.

While calling on the people to collaborate with them the more to enable them carry out their responsibilities effectively, he also enjoined the Chairmen to double their efforts at attracting more development to their Areas through collaboration with State Government, Agencies and other institutions to make life better and easier for the people at the Grassroots.
Chief Asaje advised them to use their personal relationship and connection to draw investors and business partners to their domains and as well, seek for ways to create job opportunities especially for the teeming youth and engage them in profitable ventures in their respective Areas.
The elder statesman also prayed to God to continue to grant them the wisdom to lead well in the days ahead.
