The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has commended Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, who represents Lafia Central constituency, for prioritizing the healthcare needs of his constituents.

Speaker Jatau recognized Akwashiki for his dedication to improving healthcare and other critical services in Lafia Central, ensuring effective representation and continuous support for the people in the state legislature.

He commended the Lafia lawmaker for his effort to bring positive change and development to his constituency, including initiatives related to healthcare infrastructure and service delivery.

The commendation was coming as the Lawmaker launched free medical outreach for over 3000 patients.

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau who launched the maiden edition of the medical outreach gave the commendation while declaring open the five day free medical services at Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital today.

The medical initiative embarked upon by Hon. Solomon AKwashiki under his Solomon AKwashiki Foundation was geared towards touching lives of his people positively which will involved surgery, eye consultations and distribution of glasses, health education and drugs distributions among others.

It would be recalled that the member representing Lafia Central constituency Hon. Solomon AKwashiki has so far executed array of projects and interventions aimed at bringing succour to his constituents.

And this time around he has shifted his attention to healthcare delivery targeting over 3,000 patients.

The five day free medical outreach was declared open by the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau, who commended the Lawmaker Hon. Solomon AKwashiki for prioritizing the healthcare need of his people, saying the initiative is in line with the vision of the Seventh Assembly.

“This is democracy in action, this is dividends of democracy, giving back to the people, I am proud of Hon. Akwashiki, he is doing wonders with the little things he is getting”

He called on the people of the Lawmaker’s constituency to give him all the needed support to succeed beyond 2027.

The free medical outreach according, to the medical doctor handling the campaign, Ebele Yakubu will cover surgery, eyes treatment, consultation and dispensation of drugs among others accordingly.

He called on individuals with health challenges to take advantage provided by the lawmaker to address their health needs.

On his part, Hon. Solomon AKwashiki said the free medical outreach was a deliberate plan to bring relief to individuals with health challenges.

He emphasized that he will continue to bring dividends of democracy to the door steps of his people through partnership with both the State and Federal Government as well as the International Organizations.

This, he said aside the free medical outreach, Solomon AKwashiki’s Foundation was launched, which will be a platform for him to used and woo interventions from national and international donors to bring succour to his constituents.

Some of the beneficiaries among other stakeholders thanked the Lawmaker Hon. Solomon AKwashiki for the free medical outreach, saying it has brought relief to the people medically praying God to reward him abundantly.
