In a bid to promote healthy living and provide medical support to the less privileged, Maisharifai Ambassadors, a political group, has embarked on a free medical outreach program in Keffi Local Government Area.

The initiative, themed “Maisharifai Community Health and Wellness Initiative,” aims to provide free medical check-ups, drugs, and health education to residents of the area.

The medical outreach began on Saturday at Kofar Pada Primary Health Care Centre and spread across other centers, including PHC Sabon Gari and PHC Jigwada.

On Sunday, the exercise will continue at PHC Angwan Waje and PHC Ultra Modern Market, all in Keffi. This initiative will benefit less privileged people in 10 electoral wards in Keffi LGA.

Alh. Iyal Aliyu Hassan, Chairman, Contact Committee Maisharifai for Governor 2027, described the program as impactful and commended the organizers for complementing the efforts of Prof. Muhammad Sani Haruna, who has consistently demonstrated quality leadership to the less privileged in society.

Iyal emphasized that the medical outreach would be extended to some local government areas in Nasarawa state to benefit all.

Mariam Abari, Women Leader of the Maisharifai Ambassadors, said the medical outreach was organized to give the less privileged a sense of belonging.

She stated that the initiative aimed to support Sarkin Sharifai, Prof. Sani Haruna’s Governorship ambition come 2027, calling on the beneficiaries to take advantage of the opportunity to be healthy and assured them that the group would continue to provide support to the community.
