Tortiv-ato Gets Blessing for Governorship from Kinsmen

Engr. Peter Terwase Tortiv-Ato, a frontline governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has received the blessings of his kinsmen to contest for the 2027 Benue State governorship.

The event took place at Tse Ato Anyaka, Mbamar, Mbazerem, Shangev-Tiev, Konshisha Local Government Area.

Elder Iorapuu Akile, who led the presentation of Tortiv-Ato to his kinsmen, described him as transparent, credible, and possessing the experience needed to govern the state. Prayers were offered for his success in the upcoming 2027 governorship election.

In their separate remarks, elder Abuul, Justin Amase, Barrister Ayansar Tyo, Mrs Myaga Kpagh, Ayangalu Tile, and the PDP Ward Chairman of Iwaryam Council Ward, Dekuku Agbemji, commended Tortiv‑Ato for his governorship ambition, noting that they have no doubt in his transformative and transparent leadership qualities and his wealth of experience to govern Benue State, while assuring him of their continuous prayers and support to actualise his ambition and make Benue great.

Earlier, Engr. Tortiv‑Ato, while addressing his kinsmen, said he is running for the 2027 Benue State governorship to secure and transform the State and bring desired development closer to the people for shared prosperity.

He noted that with his professional experience both in the public and private sectors within and outside Nigeria, he will deliver in the areas of security and infrastructural development, among other sectors, to create jobs, open up rural markets and make the state attractive to investors.

Tortiv‑Ato thanked his kinsmen for their blessing and assured them that he would not disappoint the Benue people when he becomes the Governor of the State in 2027.
