2027: Kogi will support APC, Ododo, Tinubu for reelection – Works Commissioner, Engr. Ahovi Yusuf

The Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Engr. Muhammed Ahovi Yusuf, has described Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as a dynamic leader dedicated to infrastructure development and collaboration for the advancement of Kogi State.
He said the Governor is known for his ambitious plans to enhance infrastructure and urban development, working closely with his ministry to ensure efficient service delivery
The Commissioner noted that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration has been commended for its transformative impact on infrastructure across the State.
Engr. Ahovi Yusuf, the ministry of Works has significantly advanced in delivering well-organized and quality infrastructure projects across the State.
He said Gov Ododo administration’s commitment to funding and maintaining high standards in infrastructure development is aimed at positive transformation, with the ministry upholding ethics and quality to ensure safety and sustainability for the state’s socio-economic growth.
Speaking on recent defection of former Governor Captain Idris Ichala Wada and others to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Ahovi Yusuf said the movement symbolizes confidence in Governor Ododo’s leadership and the party’s progress in the state.

“This collective momentum indicates the administration’s focus on unity, peace, progress, and development in Kogi State under Governor Ododo’s leadership.”
The Commissioner expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo for his extensive infrastructure initiatives and assured that the State would support both Governor Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
He emphasized the importance of unity and the positive impact of Capt. Wada’s defection to the APC on the progress of Kogi State.
