Member representing Doma South constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim has constructed and donated a Court Edifice worth Fifty Million Naira to the Nasarawa State Government in his constituency.
The Lawmaker also distributed two Peugeot Wagon Car, Seven Bajaj Motorcycle, Twenty Bundle of Wrappers, Ten Solar Street Lights and Security Touch Light among others worth Fify Five Million Naira.
The two cars were given to Traditional Rulers, Motorcycles and Touch Lights to Vigilante Group to intensify security surveillance in the area while Wrappers were distributed to women and Street Lights to communities.
The total cost of the edifice and items distributed at an event held in Agbashi, the headquarters of Doma South constituency according to the legislator Hon. Musa Ekye amount to One Hundred and Five Million Naira (#105,000,000)
Speaking during the occasion, Governor Abdullahi Sule said, what the member representing Doma South is doing is giving back to the people the favor done to him during election describing him as a worthy representative.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Dr. Emmanuel Akabe commended the Lawmaker’s effort and enjoy him to sustain the spirit for the good of the people and democracy.
The Governor frowned at politicians who abandoned their constituents only to return when it is time for election and advised them to have a change of attitude.
He said the people of Doma South have made a good choice for electing Musa Abubakar Ibrahim to represent them at the State Assembly and solicited for more support for the Lawmaker to succeed beyond 2027.
In his remark, the Lawmaker Hon. Musa Abubakar Ibrahim APC and Chairman House Committee on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs appreciated the people of his constituency for given him their mandate.
According to him, it is a duty on me to reciprocate what was done to me during the election.
He promised to continue to provide dividend of democracy to the people for the rest of his tenure.
” I spent over one hundred million naira to build the court edifice and the items distributed that includes, Two Cars, Seven Motorcycles, Twenty Bundle of Wrappers, Ten Solar Street Lights, Security Touch Lights among others.
” I will continue to do more and more till the end of my tenure as Assembly member” He added.
He appreciated the Deputy Governor for supporting him in his political journey and called on the people of his constituency to support the Deputy Governor in his Senatorial ambition.
In their seperate remarks, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Doma Local Government, Doma Local Government Chairman, Hon. Jonathan Okuba Addra, State Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Hon. Gabriel Agbashi, Administrator, Ekye Administrative Area Council, commended the giant strides of the Lawmaker for touching the lives of his people positively.
They said the Lawmaker has made them proud.
They drum support for his second term bid and the senatorial ambition of the Deputy Governor.
The beneficiaries who could not hide their feelings of joy and appreciation for the gesture prayed God to bless him abundantly.
