Senator Onawo Shows Capacity, Compassion and Leadership at Christmas
In a clear demonstration of visionary leadership, political capacity and genuine concern for the welfare of the people, the Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, has once again distinguished himself through a massive Christmas outreach across Nasarawa State.
The leading governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 elections, Sen. Onawo has distributed thousands of bags of rice and millions of naira in financial support to citizens across the state, reinforcing his long-standing reputation as a leader who identifies with the people in both good and challenging times.
The Christmas support exercise strategically covered the three senatorial zones of Nasarawa State, beginning in Lafia Zone (Nasarawa South), extending to Akwanga Zone (Nasarawa North) and climaxing in Keffi Zone (Nasarawa West). This statewide spread once again reflects Senator Onawo’s inclusive leadership style and readiness to govern Nasarawa State as one united family.
Speaking on behalf of the Senator, the Director-General of the 2023 Senatorial Campaign Team, Engr. Elisha Ebuga Yohana (Hasken Obi), stated that the initiative was not only to celebrate Christmas but to reaffirm Senator Onawo’s people-centered philosophy and commitment to uplifting the masses, particularly at a time of economic hardship.
Receiving the support in Akwanga and Keffi Zones, the leadership of Senator Onawo Frontiers, Mr. Mamman Sunday and Malam Hassan Abdullahi, described the gesture as timely, strategic and symbolic of the Senator’s preparedness to lead the state. They emphasized that Senator Onawo’s consistency in touching lives across party, religious and zonal lines has positioned him as the most credible and widely accepted governorship hopeful ahead of 2027.
They offered prayers for divine wisdom, strength and victory for Sen. Onawo, expressing confidence that Nasarawa State is set for purposeful leadership under his watch. 2027 is about capacity, compassion and credibility and Sen. Onawo represents all the three.
