The Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN), Kogi State Chapter, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, on the successful completion of two years in office.
In a statement signed by State Chairman, Comrade Ahmed Sediq Acheneje, the union praised the administration’s strides in the transport sector, which have boosted members’ livelihoods statewide.

Acheneje highlighted the prompt payment of salaries and leave bonuses to civil servants, noting it has spurred economic activity, increased transport patronage, and aided commercial tricycle operators in the civil-servant-dominated economy.
He also commended ongoing road construction and rehabilitation, which have curbed tricycle breakdowns, cut maintenance costs, and eased passenger and goods movement.

The statement applauded TOAN’s inclusion in palliative distributions, enhanced security for operators and commuters, and access to Infrastructure Maintenance Levy (IML) revenues as hallmarks of people-oriented governance.
“Your Excellency’ commitment to good governance, workers’ welfare, security, and infrastructure has built confidence among transport operators and residents,” Acheneje added.
The union prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and health to sustain and exceed these feats for Kogi’s prosperity.
