SP Ahmed abdulmumeen, ADC to Imo Governor, Electrifies Kogi East with Solar Streetlights

Residents of Kogi East Senatorial District have poured encomiums on SP Ahmad Abdulmumeen, Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, for installing solar-powered streetlights to boost electrification in Itobe community, Ofu Local Government Area.

The initiative targets Itobe in Ofu LGA and extends to the broader Idah Federal Constituency, which comprises four local government areas, bringing much-needed illumination to the underserved region.

SP Abdulmumeen, a senior police officer hailing from Itobe, has been hailed as a philanthropist par excellence for his sustained interventions in his hometown.
Beneficiaries described the solar streetlight project as a game-changer, addressing chronic power outages that have plagued the area for years.
The project, executed through personal philanthropy, underscores SP Abdulmumeen’s commitment to uplifting his roots despite serving in distant Imo State.
In addition to this electrification drive, the officer has previously offset school fees for indigent students and provided aid to widows and the less privileged.
Community leaders expressed gratitude, calling on other successful sons and daughters of Kogi East to emulate SP Abdulmumeen’s exemplary gesture.
