Chief Maikaya Hails Ex-Speaker Balarabe’s Appointment as Renewed Hope Zonal Coordinator
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State for the 2027 general elections, Chief Dr. MUSA Muhammed Maikaya, has extended hearty congratulations to the former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, over his appointment as Zonal Coordinator (Nasarawa West) of the National Renewed Hope Ambassadors Project.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Media Office, the Chief Executive Officer of Maikaya Development Foundation, described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Rt. Hon. Balarabe’s enduring commitment, vast political experience, and outstanding contributions to the growth of democracy and good governance not only in Nasarawa State but across the nation.

“This strategic appointment is a clear recognition of Rt. Hon. Balarabe’s enduring commitment, political experience, and outstanding contributions to the growth of democracy and good governance in Nasarawa State and beyond,” the statement quoted Dr. Maikaya as saying, adding that the ex-Speaker’s leadership track record during his tenure as Speaker remains a shining reference point in legislative excellence, unity, and service delivery.
Dr. Maikaya, who is a frontline contender for the APC ticket in the race for Nasarawa State Government House, also seized the opportunity to congratulate two other prominent Nasarawa indigenes on their appointments as Zonal Coordinators for the Renewed Hope project, namely Senator Philip Aruwa Gyunka for Nasarawa North and Hon. (Barr.) Mohammed Alkali for Nasarawa South.
According to the statement, the trio’s emergence underscores a strong blend of experience, capacity, and grassroots mobilization skills required to effectively drive and deepen President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda at the grassroots level across the state’s senatorial districts.
The APC chieftain expressed firm belief that Rt. Hon. Balarabe’s new role will further strengthen the propagation of the people-oriented policies and programmes of the present administration, while reinforcing the core ideals of inclusive governance, equitable development, and unity across the zones, thereby consolidating the gains of the ruling party in Nasarawa State.
As Rt. Hon. Balarabe was inaugurated into the pivotal national assignment on Thursday, Dr. Maikaya prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success for the former Speaker in discharging his duties.
