In a resounding display of solidarity ahead of the 2027 general elections, Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and House of Representatives member for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, have pledged their unalloyed support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement decorated them with prestigious patronage titles during high-level engagements in Abuja.
The visits, part of intensified nationwide mobilization efforts by the pro-Tinubu group, underscore growing momentum for the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda, with key political figures rallying behind his vision amid commendations for ongoing policy reforms and infrastructural projects across the country.
Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade, National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilization for RTIFN and Director-General of the Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency (KOSSIPA), who led the delegation, described the outings as pivotal in galvanizing grassroots support and consolidating party structures for a decisive victory at the polls.
The delegation’s first stop was the private office of Governor Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, where they formally briefed him on the strategic project aimed at securing President Tinubu’s second term and adorned him with the mantle of Patron of the movement.
Receiving the team warmly, Governor Ododo expressed profound confidence in the transformative achievements of the Tinubu administration, highlighting its commitment to economic revitalization, security enhancement, and welfare programmes that have begun to yield tangible results for Nigerians.
“Leave Kogi State for me. I will lead from the front and ensure we deliver 100 percent votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the governor declared with unwavering resolve, assuring the group of Kogi’s full backing in the electoral battle ahead.
He lauded RTIFN’s robust grassroots engagement strategy, urging the team to redouble efforts in educating citizens about the Renewed Hope Agenda’s policies and programmes, while pledging seamless collaboration with All Progressives Congress (APC) party structures, traditional rulers, and stakeholders across the state to mobilize every voter in favour of continuity and progress.
The momentum continued at the National Assembly, where the RTIFN team met Rt. Hon. James Faleke, presenting the movement’s core objectives of promoting President Tinubu’s re-election through advocacy, sensitization, and strategic partnerships, before conferring on him the exalted title of Grand Patron.
In his response, the lawmaker fully keyed into the initiative, vowing his total commitment to the cause and citing the administration’s landmark projects, from power sector reforms and agricultural interventions to youth empowerment schemes, as compelling justifications for granting Mr. President another mandate to deepen Nigeria’s recovery.
The engagements were coordinated under the auspices of RTIFN’s national leadership, with National Coordinator Amb. Bala represented by his Deputy, Mr. Zak Orji, alongside General Secretary Amb. Felix Arome and other national and state executives, signaling a united front in the push for Tinubu’s victory.
As Nigeria inches closer to 2027, such high-profile endorsements from influential figures like Ododo and Faleke are poised to amplify the movement’s reach, fostering a groundswell of support that could redefine the political landscape.
