A large gathering of Fulani men, women, and youths from across Nasarawa State on Sunday publicly declared their political direction ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its key leaders at both federal and state levels.
The declaration took place during the inauguration and swearing-in of newly elected executives of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association, Kokona LGA branch, with stakeholders, traditional rulers, and political figures in attendance.

The Fulani community threw its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule, describing their administrations as reform-driven, security-focused, and committed to economic rebuilding.
They also endorsed Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu for the 2027 governorship race, citing his accessibility, empowerment programs, and infrastructural projects across Nasarawa West Senatorial District.
In his remarks, Senator Wadada thanked the community for their solidarity, dedicating the honour to Tinubu and Sule. He praised Tinubu’s people-oriented reforms, especially the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development, and commended Governor Sule’s strides in infrastructure, agriculture, and investment.
Wadada highlighted his own achievements since 2023, including facilitating over 130 pensionable jobs, delivering empowerment and healthcare support, and recently receiving three vehicles as a reward—for which he gave ₦5 million to those who delivered them.
He also announced a ₦5 million donation to support the nomadic school in the area, dedicating it to Abdullahi Adamu, Turakin Keffi, for his longstanding commitment to the people’s welfare. He urged Nigerians to vote with the fear of God in 2027, insisting Tinubu deserves continued support.
The event featured Fulani youths presenting Wadada with a symbolic calabash, and the State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Akajo A. Gyara, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to peace, unity, and active political participation. His Royal Highness, Sylvester Lawrence Abaga Toni of Garaku, also presented land for the proposed Special Nomadic Academy in Sabon Gida, a gesture widely applauded.
The ceremony concluded with the formal swearing-in of elected officials, administered by a legal practitioner, further consolidating the association’s grassroots structure.
