Nasarawa West APC Concerns Group Endorses Maikaya for 2027 Governorship

The Nasarawa West Progressives Concern Forum has thrown its weight behind Musa Muhammed Maikaya as the most credible governorship aspirant for the 2027 elections, urging Governor Abdullahi Sule and all party stakeholders to rally support for his candidacy to ensure a seamless succession that upholds the principles of zoning and equitable democratic dividends in Nasarawa State.
Making this fervent appeal during a well-attended town hall meeting at the Fash Hotel in Keffi on Sunday, the forum’s Chairman, Prince Ahmed Mohammed Kabiru, addressed a large gathering of supporters and party faithful, painting Maikaya as the standout candidate with unassailable integrity, a proven track record in humanitarian interventions, and innovative scholarship schemes that have transformed the lives of countless students across the zone, positioning him as the ideal successor to Governor Sule’s administration.
Prince Kabiru’s passionate endorsement was echoed by other speakers, including coordinators from each local government area in Nasarawa West, who took turns appealing directly to the governor to entrust the party’s ticket to Maikaya, extolling his exceptional administrative skills, visionary leadership, and decades-long commitment to community development through consistent organization of football tournaments and humanitarian services that have endeared him to the grassroots.
They argued convincingly that no other aspirant matches Maikaya’s sustained efforts in these areas, insisting that if given the mandate in 2027, he would not only surpass expectations but deliver even greater dividends of democracy, building on the transformative initiatives already spearheaded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national level and Governor Sule at the state level, which the forum expressed unwavering confidence in.
In a resolute closing statement, the forum pledged to unleash massive grassroots mobilization efforts across Nasarawa West and extending beyond, harnessing the enthusiasm from the Keffi gathering to build unshakeable momentum toward the 2027 polls, with members vowing to leave no stone unturned in promoting Maikaya’s candidacy as the pathway to sustained progress and unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
