The former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Mrs. Aishat Blessing Ekele, has extended her warmest greetings to Muslim faithful across the country, her state, and constituency as they celebrate this year’s Eid el-Fitr Sallah, marking the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan’s spiritual journey. In a statement issued in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, on Friday, Hon. Ekele described the sacred occasion as a profound reminder of the timeless virtues of sacrifice, obedience, humility, and unwavering faith in Allah, urging all to embrace these principles in their daily lives.
The ex-Vice Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area further noted that the season provides a vital opportunity for deep reflection on the invaluable lessons derived from the 30-day fasting period, during which Muslim faithful demonstrated remarkable self-discipline, compassion, and total submission to the will of Allah.

Quoting her directly, she said: “Eid-el-Fitr remains a period of deep reflection on the lessons of Ramadan. It’s a season of self-discipline, self-realignment and assessment. It’s an avenue to show compassion for one another, and total submission to the will of Allah.
These values are critical at this period of our collective journey towards building a virile, united, peaceful, and prosperous nation, Kogi State, and our constituencies.”
As a 2019 House of Representatives aspirant for the Ankpa, Olamaboro, and Omala Federal Constituency, Hon. Ekele prayed that the blessings of the Ramadan prayers would guide the leadership of the nation, state, and constituencies in making decisions that enhance the living standards of citizens and indigenes.
“We hope your prayers for the 30 days will bring in peace, unity, and stability in all schemes of things in the country, in our state, and our constituencies,” she added, expressing optimism for a brighter future anchored on spiritual renewal.
