Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, on Saturday led a high-powered delegation comprising top civil servants from within and outside the commission to Adavi Local Government Area in a resounding show of solidarity with his colleague, Chief Abdulmumini Olowo, the Commissioner and Permanent Member 1 in the commission, over his conferment with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Onoba-Obanyi, the newly installed Adavi district head.

The colourful event, which took place at the DAM Foundation Civil Recreation Complex in Adavi town, drew an array of dignitaries including traditional rulers, the Kogi State Accountant General Hajia Habibat Onumoko, the Director-General of the Pension Bureau, commissioners, local government chairmen, elder statesman Alhaji Isa Ozi-Salami, and well-wishers within and outside from the Kogi Central Senatorial District, where Barrister Tanko Osuku and his team stormed the venue in grand style, affirming the unity and camaraderie within the state’s civil service leadership amid the joyous celebration of Chief Olowo’s elevation in his community.

Speaking on the occasion, the legal luminary commended the people of  Adavi for their peaceful coexistence among the Egbira people, even as he urged residents of the Kogi Central Senatorial District to remain supportive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Reiterating his remarks while attending the chieftaincy title conferment on the commissioner and Permanent Member 1 under his executive leadership, Barrister Tanko described the people of Kogi Central, particularly the Egbiras whom he portrayed as descendants of Ohiku, as industrious, noting that the recipient, Chief Olowo, had never been found wanting since his appointment to the commission and had continued to demonstrate unwavering commitment to public service.

He further declared that the brand new Onoba-Obanyi of Adavi would attract more development to the area, highlighting the title’s potential to foster progress and unity.
