APC chieftain Prince Ojotule hails Bello Dollar’s nomination as Commissioner – designate

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Idah/Ofu/Ibaji/Igalamela Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Prince Micheal Ojotule, has expressed delight over the nomination of the immediate past Kogi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, popularly known as Bello Dollar, as Commissioner-designate for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In a statement issued on Friday, Ojotule described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Bello Dollar’s contributions to the growth and sustained electoral successes of the party during his eight-year tenure as state party chairman.
He noted that Bello Dollar’s leadership was marked by dedication, resilience, and a strong commitment to ensuring the APC maintained its winning streak across elections in the state.
The APC chieftain said he was particularly pleased that Bello Dollar’s efforts and sacrifices had been recognised, adding that his tenure as party helmsman was both impactful and result-oriented.
According to him, the former chairman’s ability to steer the affairs of the party effectively contributed significantly to its dominance in Kogi State politics.
Ojotule further congratulated Bello Dollar on behalf of his supporters and the people of his constituency, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver in his new role.
He prayed for a successful tenure and wished him well, especially as he awaits confirmation and eventual swearing-in into office.
