Easter: Diche Hails Christ’s Resurrection as Defining Moment, Calls for Unity in Nigeria
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ have been described as a defining milestone in the history of Christianity, symbolizing hope, victory over death, and the promise of eternal life.
Former Governorship Aspirant and Kogi State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Chief Tim Nda Diche, made this assertion while reacting to the Easter celebration, noting that the season offers a profound opportunity for spiritual renewal and reflection among Christians across the country.
Dr. Diche emphasized that the resurrection of Christ represents His triumph over death and serves as a powerful reminder of the boundless possibilities that faith can inspire.
He urged Christians to remain steadfast in their belief in the power of the resurrection, stressing that the essence of Easter lies in unwavering faith, hope, and the assurance that light will always prevail over darkness.
In his message, the politician and philanthropist called on Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of love, tolerance, and humility, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, who, despite His divine nature, willingly sacrificed His life for the redemption of mankind.
He noted that these values are essential in fostering national unity and peaceful coexistence, especially in a period marked by socio-economic and security challenges.
Dr. Diche, who is aspiring to represent Kogi East Senatorial District under the All Progressives Congress (APC), extended his Easter felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other stakeholders in the political space, wishing them a joyful and fulfilling celebration.
