Sadiq Abubakar from Abuja report that the Chairman of the FCT chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Alhaji Adamu Mustapha, has congratulated the speaker of Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon High Chief Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, over his appointment as the executive member of the Commonwealth parliamentary Association (CPA) Africa region.

Mustapha, who is also the chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja, in his congratulatory message, which was contained in a statement signed by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Hon Usman Baba Lado, described the Speaker’s appointment as a well deserved one.
The ALGON chairman, further said that the appointment was in addition to the speakers recent appointment as the best state assembly speaker in the North Central zone of Nigeria.
He added that, the testimony by the secretary general of Commonwealth African region in Tanzania, who signed such appointment has no doubt added an impetus as a ‘gentleman’ whose credentials is growing day by day withing a short period of time due to the Speaker’s exemplary leadership qualities in Nasarawa state.
“We saw when the letter was presented to you in the hallow chambers of your office by house leader Alhaji Tanko Umar Tunga on behalf of the regional leaders with respect and dignity, made us proud here” he said.
