As part of activities to mark his 25th year on the throne, the Ona of Abaji and chairman of the FCT council of chiefs, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has foot the medical bills of some patients including some that undergo surgery who were admitted at the hospitals in the area.

The monarch, who visited some Ayaura comprehensive primary health care centers, Abaji general hospital, Government Girls Secondary Schools (GGSS) Abaji, was accompanied by the house of Representatives member for Abuja south, Alhaji Hassan Usman Sokodabo, APC chieftain in the area Alhaji Musa Yahaya Muhammad and Sarkin Gabas of Abaji kingdom, Alhaji Kamal Adamu Shuaibu as well as members of the traditional coucil and some title holders.
Speaking during his to Abaji general hospital where he met with some patients, the monarch said he decided to embark on the visit to show love and care for the sick patients who were admitted at the hospital.
He noted that the visit was part of activities to mark his 25 year when he ascended to throne as the paramount traditional ruler as first class chief of Abaji kingdom, adding that his visit is to pray for the patients and wished them quick recovery from their sick beds.
The monarch, who also visited Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) where he interacted with some of the students inside the classroom, saying doing so reminded him as a one time classroom teacher before he rose to become traditional ruler.
Alhaji Yunusa, who also distributed exercise books to some of the students, even as he advised the students to take their studies serious and stay away from any form of social vices.
The monarch, who further visited the muslim cemetery at south east ward of the council where a special prayer was led by the cheif Imam of Abaji, Alhaji Usman Bala, for the departed soul of people of the area.
Also, a house of representative member for Abuja south federal constituency, Alhaji Hassan Usman Sokodabo, also paid medical bills for a woman who delivered a triplets at the general hospital in the area.

Our correspondent report that a novelty football match were also held at Abajj pilot central primary school football pitch between security personnel and teachers as part of activities to mark the monarch’s 25th anniversary on throne, slated for Saturday, this week.
