Nasarawa Lawmakers take oaths of office Tuesday 6th June, – Says Clerk.

A date has been fixed to inaugurate the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly members elect representing various state constituencies.

A statement issued by the Acting Clerk of the House Mr. Ibrahim Musa said that the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly will be inaugurated next tomorrow Tuesday 6th June, 2023.

According to the statement, Hon. Members – elect of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly are expected on that day to elect Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively.

The statement said the 24 Members – elect will equally take oaths of office as well as oaths of allegiance.

The event the statement added that it will take place at the Assembly Complex Shendam Road Lafia the State Capital by 10 O’clock in the morning.
