Dr Ottah Congratulates Prof Ogbo on Reappointment

The immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Information and Communications, Dr Gabriel Ottah, has congratulated the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, on his reappointment by the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to the press, the Mass Communication scholar, Dr Ottah, said the reappointment did not come to him as a surprise, considering the record-breaking achievements he had made within his first term as the Rector.

“I got to know more about Prof Usman Ogbo when we were together as lecturers and HODs at Prince Abubakar Audu University. He was a true academic and leader with a difference and some of us tapped from his sterling leadership qualities”, Dr Ottah said.

While congratulating Professor Ogbo on this feat, he praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for placing premium on quality leadership, adding that the Governor had made a powerful statement by reappointing Professor Ogbo.

Dr Gabriel Ottah enjoined the Rector to sustain the tempo which had given him this second opportunity.

He prayed God to guide the Rector in the discharge of his duties.
