Supreme Court Verdict: Attack on SDP Candidate Muri Ajaka, Gov Ododo charges security agencies to investigate, bring perpetrators to justice.

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo strongly condemns the recent attack on the candidate of Social Democratic Party l, SDP, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and, saying such acts of violence and intimidation have no place in the democratic process.

Gov Ododo call on the security agencies to thoroughly investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.

KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS UNNECESSARY ATTACK ON ALH. MURI AJAKA AT THE SUPREME COURT

1. Kogi State Government condemns in the strongest of terms, the unwarranted attack on Alh. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka at the Supreme Court, moments after the determination of the electoral litigations involving the Governors of Kogi, Imo and Bayelsa States.

2. Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has described the conduct of the hoodlums as barbaric, uncivilized and a grave danger to the institution of justice. He urged Nigerians from all walks of life to eschew resort to self help.

3. As a Government, we implore the law enforcement agencies to fish out the perpetrators and make them face the full wrath of the law to serve as a deterrent to others as well as protect the integrity and safety of our court environments across the country.
