As the November 2nd local government elections in Nasarawa State approach, Toto local government residents have expressed their readiness and support for Ahmed Baba Yahaya as Chairman and Atnadu Sunday Yakubu as Vice Chairman, who have garnered stakeholders endorsement.
Hon Atnadu Sunday Yakubu, who served as Personal Assistant to Toto LG’s former Executive Chairman Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, commends stakeholders for their support and prayers, assuring that he won’t disappoint them.
Atnadu said he will remain grateful to the stakeholders, particularly his boss and the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Gaza, for choosing him.
He reaffirmed his pledge to support the council’s success under the new government, concentrating on critical areas such as socioeconomic advancement, security, workforce welfare, and human capital development, along with other essential dividends of democracy.
The incoming Vice Chairman equally expressed gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule for promoting peaceful coexistence in Toto LG and its surrounding areas.
He seized the opportunity to urge all Toto LG indigenes to unify and support the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming November 2nd local government elections.
