DG Naswamsa vows to reposition organization for optimal productivity

Hon. Mohammed Isa Bello, the Director General of the Nasarawa State Waste Management and Sanitation Authority, has pledged to enhance the agency’s performance through strategic repositioning.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork among staff to achieve optimal productivity and improve waste management services in the state.
The DG revealed that the initiative aims to address environmental challenges and promote a cleaner, healthier community in Nasarawa State
He made this statement when he led top management staff of the organization on an inspection tour at the headquarters of Naswamsa, in Nyanya Gwandara, Karu Local Government Area, Tuesday, emphasizing that effective waste management cannot be achieved without functioning equipment.
Bello explained that the inspection aimed to evaluate the extent of damage to the trucks and other relevant facilities, with a view to restoring them to working condition and commencing the evacuation of waste bins in Mararaba and Masaka areas of Karu Local Government.
The Naswamsa DG interacted with Salisu Umar, a contractor evaluating waste bins in the area, who pledged to work with the water management to achieve success.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork among the organization’s staff, which he believes will foster hard work and commitment, and he also pledged to prioritize staff welfare.
