President Tinubu Names Princess Zahrah Audu As PEBEC DG

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu as the new Director General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) on January 20, 2025.
The appointment is expected to enhance Nigeria’s business climate and attract foreign investments.
Princess Zahrah Audu, previously a technical adviser on Foreign Direct Investment, succeeds Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, who is now the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

Princess Zahrah, wife of Prince Mustapha Mona Audu and daughter-in-law to the late Prince Abubakar Audu, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve in such a significant capacity, describing it as a great honor and privilege.
In her acceptance statement, she expressed gratitude to Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima for nominating her to the position and to Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, for his invaluable support and guidance.
She thanked the Minister of Trade and Investment for endorsing her nomination and praised the teamwork demonstrated by the Office of the Vice President.
From a personal perspective, Princess Zahrah acknowledged the unshakeable support of her husband and children, conveying her deepest gratitude for their sacrifices and encouragement, which she emphasized have been indispensable throughout her journey.
She reiterated her allegiance to President Tinubu’s vision and vowed to work assiduously to further PEBEC’s goals, ensuring the council perpetuates an enabling business environment in Nigeria.
PEBEC, launched in 2016, aims to dismantle barriers to business operations in Nigeria and strengthen the country’s reputation as a preferred destination for investment.
