Federal Commissioner Tijani Aliyu receives APC legal adviser Prof Kana
Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, SAN, National Legal Adviser of the All Progressive Congress (APC), paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed, Federal Commissioner for National Commission for Refugees Migrants And Internal Displaced Persons in his office, Abuja
The purpose of the visit was to foster a strong collaborative relationship to effectively engage communities and involve citizens in project implementation across the country.
Prof. Kana commended the Ahmed-led NCFRMI leadership, noting that government is a continuum, and praised the Agency’s emergency relief efforts and community-focused initiatives.
He acknowledged the APC’s awareness of NCFRMI’s exceptional work and urged Hon. Tijani to build upon this success.
In his remarks, Honourable Federal Commissioner Aliyu Tijjani Ahmed highlighted the Agency’s commitment to providing emergency relief to individuals impacted by natural disasters. He noted that NCFRMI’s scope extends beyond emergency aid, prioritizing the improvement of living conditions for refugees in camps. The Federal Commissioner also updated the National Legal Adviser on the Agency’s programmes and initiatives, emphasizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
