Dr. Mary Idele Alile, APC National Woman Leader speaks on International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is a global celebration held annually on March 8, recognizing women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievement. It serves as a call to action for accelerating gender parity and acknowledges the progress made while recognizing the work that still lies ahead
On this remarkable occasion of International Women’s Day, I celebrate the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women across Nigeria and the world. Today, we recognize the unwavering spirit of women who continue to break barriers, shape societies, and drive progress in every sphere of life.
As we reflect on this year’s theme, we are reminded that gender equality, inclusivity, and empowerment remain at the heart of our collective progress. Women are not just caregivers; we are leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and nation-builders. We must continue to uplift one another, challenge stereotypes, and ensure that our voices are heard in decision-making processes at all levels.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, remains committed to advancing policies that empower women, create economic opportunities, and foster a society where every woman and girl can thrive. Through our unwavering dedication, we will continue to push for more representation, access to resources, and protection of women’s rights.
To my fellow women, let us stand together, support one another, and continue to break new ground. Our future is bright, and our impact is limitless. Happy International Women’s Day!
Signed,
Dr. Mrs. Mary Idele Alile
