Senator Sunday Karimi receiving accolades for donating food items to the Muslim community in Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency. However, Senator Karimi has been recognized for various philanthropic efforts, including inaugurating a N100 million bursary scheme for students and committing another N100 million to empower women through cooperative societies in Kogi West. Additionally, he has been involved in infrastructure projects and community support initiatives

Rukayat Suleiman, a supporter of Senator Sunday Steve Karimi from Lokoja, has praised the senator for his generosity, particularly during Ramadan.

She said Senator Karimi has been actively involved in community support, including distributing food items like rice to mosques in Lokoja, which helps ease the fasting period for Muslims.

His efforts reflect a commitment to prioritizing the needs of his constituents, aligning with his broader vision of empowering communities through various initiatives

Sulaiman, the leader of Lokoja Ladies Association, commenting on Senator Sunday Steve Karimi’s support.

“Senator Karimi is known for his extensive community support initiatives, including educational assistance through scholarships, empowerment of women through cooperative groups, and infrastructure development like water schemes.”

“His efforts focus on addressing various community needs, which aligns with the kind of support Sulaiman might be referring to.”

She expressed her gratitude to Senator Karimi for not disappointing his constituents and assured him of continued support and cooperation towards promoting his administration’s policies and programmes at the National Assembly.

“Our Senator has sent two of his children with a consignment of Rice, Sugar and milks to be shared among the residents of Kogi/Lokoja axis.

Suleiman further praised the Senator for providing food items worth millions of naira for mosques in Lokoja/Kogi as part of his contribution to the ongoing Ramadan fast.

According to her, the Senator, undeterred by his VIP status, sent two of his children to donate those items, a development that she said warrants support from the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.
