KOBA to Hold 2025 AGM with Nasarawa Governor Sule
….As 17 notable Nigerians, including 3 governors of Borno, Plateau, Benue and FCT Minister, will receive KOBA Cheetah Gold Awards
Arrangements have been finalized for the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Keffi Old Boys Association KOBA.
The Annual General Meeting is set to begin on Thursday, 24th April, 2025 and will end on Sunday, 27th April, 2025 at Government College Keffi, Nasarawa State
Prince Sam Israel JP, Secretary General of the association, stated this while speaking to news men in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
According to the KOBA Scribe, “Members are expected to arrive at the School on Thursday, 24th April, 2025, for registration, and on Friday, 25th, the National Executive Council Members of the Association will pay homage to the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Chindo Yamusa, after which Muslim KOBA members will attend Ju’mat Prayers at the Palace.”
He further noted that by four in the evening of that same Friday, various sporting activities and social gatherings will take place across Keffi town.
Prince Israel announced that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, 26th April 2025, at the Patient Hall, Government College, Keffi.
He pointed out that an award ceremony will hold at the Edward Adamu Banquet Hall within Government College Keffi.
Prince Israel revealed that 17 distinguished Nigerians, including the Governors of Benue, Plateau, Borno, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, will be conferred with the association’s Cheetah Gold Award.
The Special Guest of Honor will be the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abfullahi . Alhaji Sule, and the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Chindo Yamusa, who is also the Grand Patron of KOBA, will host the event as Chief Host.
The KOBA Secretary disclosed that the association’s new leadership will be unveiled at the end of the meeting.
In addition to the scheduled programs, a Thanksgiving Church Service will take place on Sunday, 27th April 2025, and the newly elected leaders of the association will pay homage to the Emir of Keffi before their departure.
