NSUK Vice Chancellor Donates N50,000 to each Students Affected by Fire

Nasarawa State University Keffi’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, has fulfilled her promise to support students affected by a recent fire incident, presenting a total of N50,000 to each of the 15 students whose accommodations were destroyed.
The donation ceremony took place at the Vice Chancellor’s office in the Senate Building on Monday, April 14, 2025.”
A fire recently ravaged student residential apartments in Angwan Lambu, destroying all their belongings.
In response to this distressing incident, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman pledged N50,000 each to the 15 affected students, along with hostel accommodations.
True to her word, Prof. Liman symbolically presented the cash donation to the beneficiaries, stating that the funds were intended to alleviate their suffering, urging them to judiciously use it as expected.
Usman Mudi Sule, speaking on behalf of the students, expressed gratitude to the university management under Prof. Liman’s leadership for their foresight in addressing the students’ plight and urged for continued support.
Prof. Liman, a renowned Islamic studies expert and the university’s first female Vice Chancellor, has been making waves since taking office in April 2024 with her commitment to driving the institution towards vocational, entrepreneurial, and functional education.
