Kogi State NYCN leadership holds executive council meeting, announces management meeting date

The Kogi State leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, convened an extraordinary executive council meeting on Friday, May 30th, 2025, to address pressing matters.
According to a statement released to the media in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, by Umar Dan’Assabe Muhammed, Secretary General, NYCN Kogi State Chapter, the two-hour management meeting saw the discussion of several key issues.
The statement further stated that the council approved a date for a forthcoming management meeting, scheduled for June 3rd, 2025.
REPORT OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, KOGI STATE CHAPTER EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON THE 30TH MAY 2025 BY 9AM.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria Kogi State Chapter in fulfilment of its duties to amongst other things conduct State Executive Council meetings to deliberate on matters of importance regarding her affairs and that of the broader Kogi State Youths; conducted a state executive meeting in line with Section 11.3 (Procedure for Elections) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to deliberate on the wounding up of the 2021 – 2025 executive tenure and to address the urgent need to convene a management meeting in order to comply with the 60-day procedural timeline stipulated by the constitution.
Key Resolutions:
After two hours of deliberation and brainstorming, the executive council resolved on the following:
That management meeting of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter be summoned on Tuesday 3rd June 2025 by 11 am.
That the purpose of the management meeting be to set-up the following in-line with Section 11.3 of the NYCN Constitution;
