The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Rural Development, Hon King Habib, recently paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Dr. Ahmed Jimoh Eneji, the Obobanyi Ohionwa of Ihima at his palace.
This visitation aligns with ongoing efforts by the Kogi State government to engage traditional leaders and promote rural development across the state.
The Obobanyi Ohionwa is a significant traditional ruler in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, a position recently held by His Royal Highness Dr. Ahmed Jimoh Eneji, who was installed as the 13th Obobanyi of Ohionwa.
Hon Kong Habib visit reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening relationships with community leaders and supporting rural transformation initiatives championed by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who emphasizes sustainable development and improved quality of life in rural areas throughout Kogi State.
King Habib expressed deep appreciation for the support, prayers, and encouragement from his traditional leaders, which he credits for his political success.
He also sincerely thanked His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, for appointing him as Special Adviser on Rural Development.
“This appointment is not just an honour but also a significant responsibility to drive positive change in rural communities.”

Hon King Habib attributes his promotion from Senior Special Assistant to Special Adviser to divine intervention, emphasizing that it is God’s doing.
He also calls on his kinsmen to keep praying for His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his team to ensure their continued success.
HRH. Dr. Ahmed Eneji, the Obobanyi of Ohionwa, offered prayers for the success of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Former Governor Yahaya Bello, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, and Hajia Hasana Onize, grateful for the chance to serve the state and foster development.
