Lokoja Ward A APC dismisses Nda Aaron’s suspension as laughable and politically motivated

The entire leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ward A in Lokoja local government area of Kogi State has officially cautioned some desperate members of the party to trade with caution to avoid causing disunity within the party while pursuing personal interests.

This warning underscores the leadership’s desire to maintain party unity and discourage actions motivated by selfish agendas that might threaten cohesion.

The statement issued and signed on 25 July 2025 by John Momoh on behalf of concerned Lokoja Ward APC Party Members and Stakeholders described the purported suspension of Hon Nda Aaron as an attempt to destroy the APC in Lokoja. The statement called on all party leaders to disregard the politically motivated ploy orchestrated by a few elements.

Ward A APC Rebuts Politically Motivated Suspension of Nda Aaron

We, the loyal members of Ward A APC, strongly condemn the purported kangaroo second suspension of Nda Aaron within a month, dated July 24, 2025. This suspension lacks merit, falls short of procedural standards, and negates the law of natural justice with no substance in it’s entirety, and there was no reason for such except aiming for cyber bullying, and should be disregarded .

The suspension appears to be a blatant attempt to undermine the ongoing peace process and dialogue aimed at fostering unity and cohesion within the party. We believe that external forces are using internal party mechanisms to further their own interests.

The involvement of law enforcement agencies in this matter is particularly concerning. Alhaji Aliyu Akaba who was petitioned by Hon Maikudi Bature, Chairman Lokoja APC chapter to the Area Command Police in Ward B, instead of Ward A “A” Division or State Police Command, and rather than following due process through the party’s internal mechanisms, is highly condemnable. This further raises questions about whose interests are being served.

We appeal to the Ward A APC Chairman and EXCOs to prioritize dialogue and internal party mechanisms over external interference. The party has been magnanimous in giving them a two-term opportunity, and no position is permanent. We urge them to shun external interference for the sake of our peace-loving President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

The reconciliation process is ongoing, with progress estimated at 80%. We appeal to the Rt Honourable Speaker Umar Aliyu to support this effort and work towards a united and stronger Ward A APC by inviting Alhaji Aliyu Akaba led leadership to a peace meeting for amicable resolution within the party tenets .

As loyal party members, we reserve the right to appeal party decisions to the State Party chapter for justice, equity, and fairness.
NB : Yesterday Hon Nda Aaron had closed-door meeting with key Ward A APC officials and later met with the Ward A APC Chairman Arc Femi Oluyori at Wisdom Seat Supermarket by GTBank around 09 15pm for peace and stability of Ward A APC.
