The immediate former member who represented Toto/Gadabuke State constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa, has condoled with Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and people of Umaisha Development Area in Toto local government over the loss of Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi, an elder sister to Alhaji Balarabe Abdullahi
Hon Usman Shafa in an emotional statement during an interview with Newsmen on Monday at the Gwagwalada residence of the former Speake, where the 3 days Fidau prayer of his deceased sister held, noting that Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has been like everything to him during and after his time in office.
“Rt. Hon Balarabe’s fortunes, be they good or bad, also have a bearing on me. Our shared responsibilities have fostered a sense of family and cooperation.”

The former Toto/Gadabuke lawmaker said the reason for his presence was to share in the grief of the bereaved family
According to him, he understand how painful for one to lose a loved one, considering how closely they’re.
Mr. Shafa has been on ground since the news of Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi ‘s passing in solidarity with his brother and former Speaker.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased Zainab Abdullahi, describing her as a religious and supportive sister while alive.
In another development, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa has called on his supporters in Toto Local Government to await Governor Abdullahi Sule’s decision on whom to support in the 2027 Nasarawa State elections.
He recalled receiving numerous inquiries from his constituents about his political plans for 2027 but emphasized that he remains committed to his mission and vision of serving his people whenever given the chance.
Hon. Shafa expressed gratitude to the people of Toto LGA for their continuous support and trust, assuring them that he will not disappoint.
It would be recalled that Hon Shafa had during his time in office built schools, gives scholarship grants to students and provided empowerment to both youths and women to cater for themselves.
His adminstration was rated as one of the best in history of the Toto/Gadabuke State constituency as he continue to maintain his composure and humility
