NSUK’s Prof. Barde delivers 56th inaugural lecture, emphasizes technology’s role in achieving results

The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has hosted its 56th inaugural lecture, featuring Professor Barnabas Embugus Barde, who delivered a thought-provoking lecture titled “Business Administration in the Digital Age: Navigating the Impact of Business, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Analysis, and Entrepreneurship.”

During the lecture, Prof. Barde highlighted the significance of embracing technological advancements in business administration. He emphasized the potential of robotics and artificial intelligence to revolutionize industries, improve cost-effectiveness, and enhance accuracy and consistency.

Prof. Barde noted that robotics can be used to automate tasks, reducing labor costs and improving efficiency, he emphasized the critical role of data analytics in business decision-making, providing valuable insights and information to drive business growth.

“Robotics can be leveraged to automate tasks, enhancing productivity and efficiency by reducing the need for human labor. Additionally, it has the potential to improve cost-effectiveness, accuracy, and consistency, making it a valuable asset in various industries.”

The Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Keffi, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, represented by DVC Academic, Prof. Maikano Ari, thanked the professors for keying into the academic tradition of inaugural lectures and emphasized the importance of this tradition in promoting academic excellence and intellectual discourse within the university community.

The former Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mohammed Akaro Mainoma, thanked the university management for sustaining the culture of inaugural lectures and congratulated Prof. Barde on his outstanding academic achievement and successful lecture.

The lecture was well-received by the academic community, with Prof. Mohammed Tanko, Vice Chancellor of Mewar University Karu, congratulating Prof. Barde on his outstanding achievement.

Pastor Phillip Daniel, representing the inaugural lecturer’s family, praised Prof. Barde’s dedication to academic excellence, acknowledging the challenges he faced throughout his academic journey.
