The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, on Friday extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslims worldwide for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, describing it as a moment of profound spiritual renewal and triumph over personal challenges.

Speaking from the festive Eid praying ground at Lokogoma Phase 1 in Lokoja, where he led his family members and joined fellow residents in observing the two special rakats of the Eid prayer, Barr. Tanko Osuku emphasized the significance of the period as a testament to the discipline, faith, and communal solidarity exemplified by the Muslim ummah during the fasting season.

In his message, the civil service boss called on Muslims and all residents of Kogi State to sustain the lessons of Ramadan by promoting peace, unity, and mutual understanding across diverse communities, urging everyone to let the spirit of sacrifice and forgiveness guide their interactions in the days ahead.

He equally urged residents to exercise moderation and vigilance throughout the festive period, emphasizing the need to avoid excesses that could lead to health risks, accidents, or unnecessary expenditures amid the celebrations.

He also seized the opportunity to congratulate the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering support for the welfare of the people, while extending warm Sallah greetings to the entire citizenry, praying that the blessings of Eid-el-Fitr usher in prosperity, harmony, and accelerated development for Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
