The Chairman of the Traditional Council for Kogi and Lokoja, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, the Ohimegye Igu of Koton-Karfe Kingdom (Agabaidu), has extolled Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku as a man of many parts whose exceptional ability to connect with diverse groups remains exciting and encouraging.

The first-class monarch of the Egbira people in Kogi State made this glowing remark on Sunday during a courtesy visit by the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Osuku, to his palace.

The visit was specifically to inform the royal father about his newly conferred chieftaincy title by the Chief of the Hausa Community, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammed A. Adamu, highlighting Osuku’s growing stature in traditional and community circles.

Dr. Akawu Salihu described Barrister Tanko Osuku as a diligent, universal mobile personality whose innovative ideas and selfless contributions have fostered unity and development not only within the Igu Koton-Karfe Kingdom but extending far beyond the borders of Kogi State.

He noted that the barrister Tanko Osuku’s humility and extensive service across various communities, both within and outside the state, have earned him numerous prestigious titles, making him a beacon of progress and harmony.

The monarch warmly congratulated Barrister Tanko Osuku on the well-deserved chieftaincy honour and expressed profound gratitude to the Hausa community for deeming him worthy of such recognition, emphasizing that such gestures strengthen inter-ethnic ties in the area.

Earlier, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Ohimegye Igu Koton-Karfe for his fatherly leadership and unwavering support, which he described as a guiding principle that has propelled his personal and professional successes over the years.

He fondly recalled his tenure as Chairman of a Kogi Local Government Area, during which the revered monarch provided invaluable guidance and even recommended key individuals whose contributions were instrumental to the remarkable achievements of his four-year administration.
