APC Ward 3, Illah Hails Ifeajika’s Appointment as Renewed Hope Coordinator, Pledges Grassroots Mobilisation
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 3, Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has congratulated Mr. Olisa Ifeajika on his appointment as Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for the ward, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and leadership capacity.
Ifeajika, who also serves as Executive Assistant to the Governor on Public Enlightenment, Projects and Policies, was yesterday inaugurated into the position by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, with a mandate to drive the Renewed Hope agenda at the grassroots level.
In his acceptance message, Ifeajika who was Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, noting that the appointment comes with a clear responsibility to deepen engagement and ensure that government policies and achievements are effectively communicated to the people.
He outlined his agenda for Ward 3 to include fostering unity among party members and community leaders, strengthening grassroots engagement, and delivering measurable results that reflect the impact of the Renewed Hope initiative.
“The Governor’s charge is clear: we must become the heartbeat of Renewed Hope at the grassroots. In Ward 3, we will work as one, take the message of progress to every home, and ensure that the benefits of governance are felt by all,” he said.
Describing the role as a mandate to deliver, Ifeajika pledged to lead with integrity, discipline, and a strong commitment to service, while calling for collective support from stakeholders in the ward.
Reacting to the appointment, the APC Ward 3 Executive Committee, in a statement signed by the Ward Chairman, Bar. Okonma Nelson, commended Ifeajika’s emergence, noting that his track record of service and loyalty to the party made him a fitting choice for the role.
The party expressed confidence that his experience and passion would help advance the ideals of the Renewed Hope agenda within the ward and beyond, assuring him of its full support as he assumes the new responsibility.
The statement further emphasized the need for unity and sustained mobilisation at the grassroots, noting that Ifeajika’s leadership would play a critical role in strengthening the party’s presence and impact in Ward 3.
Residents and party faithful in Illah have also welcomed the development, expressing optimism that the new coordinator would bring renewed energy and direction to grassroots political engagement in the area.
