Kogi Women’s Group Endorses Tinubu, Karimi for Second Term Re-Election

Women under the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF) in Yagba West Local Government Area have declared their support for Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Kogi West Senator, Sunday Karimi, during a solidarity visit to the senator’s residence.

The delegation, drawn from wards across Yagba West, commended what they described as people-focused policies and development initiatives driven by both leaders. They praised President Tinubu’s economic reform agenda and lauded Senator Karimi’s efforts toward grassroots development and empowerment within the Kogi West Senatorial District.

Speaking on behalf of the group, KPSF Women Leader, Hon. Olamide Adesoro, stressed the need for continuity in leadership, noting that sustained support would help consolidate the progress already recorded.

She said the women were committed to mobilising support at the grassroots to strengthen political stability and ensure further development in the region.

The zonal coordinator, Erukutu Yagba, also urged members of the women’s wing to intensify mobilisation efforts in support of both leaders, reinforcing the importance of unity and active participation in the political process.

Responding, Senator Karimi expressed appreciation for the show of solidarity, describing it as a source of encouragement to deepen his legislative efforts and constituency engagement.

He commended the women for their unity and active involvement in shaping the political direction of Yagba West and Kogi State.

The visit ended with a renewed pledge by the KPSF Women’s Wing to remain committed to the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda and to support Senator Karimi’s representation in the National Assembly.
