Thousands Welcome Prof. Sani Haruna Back to Nigeria, Show Support for 2027 Governorship Bid
A leading gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna, the APC in Nasarawa State, says, he’s committed to delivering good governance if elected in the 2027 Governorship election.
He made the statement during a welcoming rally organized by his supporters held at his campaign office at Kara cattle market along Keffi Abuja expressway on Monday.
The supporters of Prof. Haruna turned out in large numbers to welcome him because they believe in his policies and vision for the state.
He was received at Tudun Wada, Karu LGA to Keffi where they rally round some major streets in Keffi and terminated at his campaign office at Kara. They came from rural areas and urban centers to show their support for their candidate.
Speaking to journalists, the Governorship aspirant said he has always been with the people and that is why his supporters are backing him, citing his development plans and policies for the state if he wins the election.
Haruna promised to continue the development projects initiated by Governor Abdullahi Sule and to attract investors to the state. He said he would use his expertise and experience to develop the state and ensure peace and stability. He thanked his supporters and opponents for their support and wished them well.
“Haruna also appealed to his supporters to remain calm and peaceful, saying that he would work hard to win their trust.”
Supporters of Haruna praised his character and said they were not surprised by the large turnout, given his good reputation and vision for the state. They expressed confidence that he would win the election and bring development to Nasarawa State.
