The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, and the Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Ibrahim Suleiman, have assured Nigerians of improved dividends of democracy ahead of the 2027 general elections following the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The two leaders gave the assurance separately while voting in their respective wards during the APC presidential primary held to affirm President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the sole presidential candidate of the ruling party.

Speaking at Tudun Kofar Ward, Senator Wadada expressed confidence that President Tinubu would secure victory in both the party primary and the 2027 presidential election, citing the massive turnout of party supporters.

He said his confidence in the Tinubu administration was strengthened by the increased allocation of funds to states from the federation account, which, according to him, had enabled the Nasarawa State Government under Governor Abdullahi Sule to embark on significant infrastructural development projects.

“I am delighted that we have all gathered to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the candidate of our great party, the APC. Judging by the turnout in my ward, I am optimistic that the President will emerge victorious in the primary and be overwhelmingly re-elected in 2027,” he said.

Wadada also appreciated the people of Nasarawa State for supporting his emergence as the APC governorship flag bearer, pledging to reciprocate the confidence reposed in him through purposeful leadership and good governance.

He further urged residents of the state to shun politics of bitterness and embrace peace and unity for the overall development of Nasarawa State.

Also speaking at Liman Abaji Ward, Minister of Women Affairs, Dr. Imaan Ibrahim Suleiman, commended the large turnout of women and APC supporters during the exercise.

She noted that the massive participation demonstrated the continued confidence of Nigerians in the administration of President Tinubu and the APC-led government.

According to her, the President’s reform policies were already yielding visible results, which she said explained the growing support for his administration ahead of the 2027 elections.

Dr. Suleiman called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and prayerful, assuring them that better days lie ahead under the present administration.
