PAAU Vice-Chancellor Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, unity, peace and devotion exemplified by the holy festival.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Management, Senate, staff and students of the institution, the Vice-Chancellor described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season of reflection and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

Prof. Usman also extended special felicitations to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, and members of the Consolidation and Continuity family for witnessing yet another Eid-el-Kabir celebration in good health and peace.

According to him, the festival remains a reminder of the enduring values of faith, obedience, sacrifice and compassion, which are essential for national development and peaceful coexistence.

The Vice-Chancellor prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to shower Nigerians with mercy, guidance and protection, while strengthening the collective resolve of leaders and citizens to serve humanity with sincerity and commitment.

He noted that the university community remains committed to contributing meaningfully to educational advancement, societal growth and the development of Kogi State and the nation at large.

Prof. Usman further expressed hope that the spiritual lessons of Eid-el-Kabir would inspire renewed hope, forgiveness, harmony and prosperity among Nigerians irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

He wished Muslim faithful and their families a joyful, peaceful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
