Labour Party Celebrates Gov. Alex Otti on Third Anniversary in Office
The Labour Party has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Alex Chioma Otti, on his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as a shining example of purposeful leadership and good governance.
In a statement issued on Friday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Eluma Asogwa, the party said Governor Otti remains the most outstanding product of the Labour Party’s performance in the 2023 general elections.
The party noted that within three years in office, Governor Otti has demonstrated that the Labour Party governs with a clear difference, citing his reforms and developmental strides across key sectors of the Abia State economy.
According to the statement, the governor’s performance has earned national recognition from several rating organisations, which have reportedly ranked him among the best-performing governors in the country.
“As a party, we are proud that one of Nigeria’s most impactful governors today is a product of the Labour Party,” the statement said.
The party also expressed confidence that the people of Abia State would continue to support Governor Otti ahead of the 2027 general elections in appreciation of his leadership style and achievements in office.
It further commended the governor for remaining focused despite what it described as distractions and opposition from individuals and groups that allegedly mismanaged the state for over two decades before his administration.
The Labour Party congratulated Governor Otti on the milestone and wished him continued success in his efforts to deliver good governance and development to the people of the state.
