The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Thursday, October 22, 2026, inaugurate its Campaign Council as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s campaign structure and coordinate mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The inauguration is expected to bring together party leaders, stakeholders, elected and appointed officials, members of the Campaign Council and other invited guests to formalise the party’s campaign machinery and coordinate electioneering activities across Delta State’s 25 local government areas.
According to a statement issued by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq., Delta State Governor and APC leader, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will chair the Campaign Council, providing leadership and strategic direction for the party’s campaign activities.
The State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, JP, is expected to lead members of the State Executive Committee (EXCO) and preside over the inauguration ceremony.
The event will formally establish the party’s campaign leadership structure and provide a framework for coordinating activities across the state ahead of the forthcoming electoral contests.
The inauguration is also expected to offer party leaders and stakeholders an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to unity, internal cohesion and grassroots mobilisation, while aligning their activities with the APC’s campaign objectives.
APC Announces Arrival Time for Council Members
