Youths at all levels in Nasarawa State have been urged to unite and be ready for the final battle and fight the impunity of high order emanating from some notable politicians who have hijacked democracy in the State
A renowned sociopolitical activist and now blogger Yahaya Idris Toto has expressed gratitude to the people of Nasarawa West District of the state, leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and most especially all the genuine delegates from the five local government areas of the zone for their prayers, unflinching support and loyalty on the senatorial ambition of Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, Mattawale Toto, towards ensuring he emerged in the rescheduled Nasarawa West APC senatorial primaries.
Idris Toto stated this in Toto, the administrative headquarters of the council, Wednesday, when he hosted some group of youths at a session to enlighten them on the need to rally support for the man of the moment, sustain the support and speak in one voice.
The blogger restated the commitments of the youths towards enthroning a democratic setting in the State and with particular reference to the rescheduled Nasarawa West APC primaries.
He said: “I want to sincerely thank you all, your support was the strength leading us to the promised land” we must not relent until we are done with the APC primaries ahead of us.”
Idris Toto explained that the unwavering support demonstrated by the youths across Nasarawa West District, party leaders, and delegates further strengthened the unity within the party across all strata, which according to him, would culminate in a successful emergence of Barr. Magaji is the party flag bearer in tomorrow’s primaries.
“It’s shocking to the marrow of my bones when I discovered those faces behind the ongoing impunity in the party were doing it for their 2027 selfish political interest, but as a people, we cannot fold our hands as spectators to allow things go down their way.”
According to him, “I find it very imperative to thank God Almighty for the grace is given unto me and other Comrades in the struggle who have sacrificed their lives to ensure democratic principles is restored in the system for the sake of next generation.”
“I also find it expedient to express my appreciation to our leader, the Governor of Nasarawa state, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his statesmanship. Indeed, he’s a worthy leader of high repute”
“I also want to thank all our leaders and all the five local government areas in the western region for their firmness in rallying huge support and total loyalty for our hopeful APC Senatorial candidate, Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, Mattawale Toto, at ensuring that he is given the ticket to contest for the Nasarawa West District seat at the Senate, Abuja
Yahaya Toto called on all youths and women groups to join hands with Barr. Magaji in ensuring that the party wins handsomely in the forthcoming General elections.
He said if elected Barr. Magaji will use his connection to attract meaningful development, quality representation, and critical infrastructure through legislative lobby and oversight functions among others. He said.
