The electoral candidacy of Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu, popularly known as (Jamo) Amonmany close associates, friends, and party faithfuls and as well as mammoths of teeming supporters, within and outside shores of Abia state, for Bende north constituency seat in the forthcoming 2023 State House of Assembly, have given Abia constituents in bende local area of the state, positive hopes for a effective and responsive representation that would address their basic needs, and enhance economic activities and Infrastructural growths in Bende north state constituency, now we are fast approaching next year’s general elections. However, the eligible people who constituted the main electorates, or voters, resolved to end poor representation and legislative redundancy by successive ocapants of the exalted elective seat of the Bende north Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly.
As we goes into general elections come 2023 in Abia, and many other states of the Nigeria federation, the electorates in their recent individual opinions analytically scrutinized the manifestos of all candidates in different political parties that would be participating in the forthcoming elelectl process which Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a institutional body empowered and saddled by the law of the land to regulates all functions and activities of registered parties, set to conduct in 2023 across the thirty-six states of the federation, watchers of political developments as it’s currently unfolds in Bende local government that birthed current two state constituencies (Bende north and south) in specific, have agreed on the widely-held views expressed by large population of people within and outside the shores of the state, that it has ceased to be business as usually by the political class in entire bende locality wherein they would queue behind or support major dominant and reigning political parties in the country, in total negligence, and deliberate abandonment of personal or Individual capacities, merits and expertises, versatility, thorough characters and other wherewithal of those in Abia electoral competitions, or seeks to be elected under the umbrellas of political parties.
And it has obviously ceased to be business as usual, always orchestrated by political actors and desperados, and also executed by handful of their foot-soldiers to monetarily-induced misguided followers, in order to secure huge numbers of votes during elections, and after when they are entrusted with people’s mandate, and would then also, criminally enrich family members, cronies and associates with public funds in detriment of the suffering populaces in the state, or the entire nation.

A graduate of Biochemistry from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Enugu state, and other management courses at the Lagos Business School, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu (JAMO), currently doubled as erudite telecommunications businessman, whose foresight promoted telecommunications ease of doing business within the entire southeast, thereby providing employment to our teaming youths.
Holding the traditional chieftaincy title of Oshmiri 1, Hon Egwuonwu Chukwu can be described as a liberal personality who relates easily with people, liberal and accessible anytime. Having built enough manpower and human development, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu, (Jamo) sojourn in the murky of Nigeria politics, and coupled with his current entry into the 2023 State House of Assembly race to represent the good people of Bende north constituency of Abia state come 2023.
In one of his recent interviews with a cross section of journalists in Umuahia, the state capital, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu promised responsive and purposeful representation if given the opportunity and supports to emerge the next member representing Bende north area in Abia House of Assembly in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
According to him, “my focus when elected, would be interfacing and partnering with every purposeful, formidable Individual, groups, community or organizations, and also will be committed to the development of the grassroots to enhance livelihoods in local areas that formed the present Bende North state constituency”.
On the collective efforts of patriotic citizens to deepen democratic process in Abia state towards improving standard of living by the citizenry, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu, is currently among the crusaders to salvage the country occasioned by evil misrule by successive administrations led by governing All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His current main goal is seeing Nigeria taking back from corrupt leaders, as symbolized by Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed Movement.
Equally and massively galvanizing the structure needed to deliver the Peter Obi philosophy in his own state constituency (Bende North), and the entire Bende at large, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu, enjoins all to feel free to identify with his courses to advance democratic process at all levels of leadership of Abia, and the Nigeria society as a whole, especially now we goes into another general elections in 2023. Particular mention must be made of the cordial relationship with the Bende local government area chapter of Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), comprising the teachers, civil servants, pensioners, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) etc, in line with the national objectives of the union.
Meanwhile, a cross section of eligible voters and constituents from Bende North extraction, have spoken on the human qualities of the erudite telecommunications magnet and House of Assembly Standard-bearer of Labour Party for Bende North constituency seat in the 2023 main elections, Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu.
The bende constituents who also jittisoned political party backgrounds or affiliations, and also resolved and reaffirmed that they would work in all round clock at their various local electoral wards across Bende north bloc, to deliver Hon James Egwuonwu Chukwu unde for the position of Member of the Abia State House of Assembly in coming 2023 general elections.
In their separate news interview with our NEWS CORRESPONDENT during the weekend in Umuahia, the state capital, Mr Emmanuel Ndukwe, bende north constituents who deals on sale of provision beverages along Alayi and Item parts of the constituency, and Madam Jessica Kalu, secondary school teacher, said that Chukwu has demonstrated capacity and expertises in different fields of endeavours, more especially in encouraging entrepreneurship cum small and medium scale business enterprises, which had already and continually engaged youths, men and women to become business owners the through small and medium scale business enterprises of bende north communities.
According to them, “honestly speaking, enough have not been achieve to get Bende north to a high pedestal of human, economic growths and Infrastructural development by our leaders, and also those at the national level. And this had badly and continued caused the developmental backwardness being experience in many areas of this very constituency, instead of leading towards achieving greater heights in all facets of development of bende north areas.
“I confident and with the strong believe without sounding partiality like others, that Labour Party, and our brother, James Egwuonwu Chukwu will offer our people, best representation, to foster and improve on Infrastructural challenges bedeviling Bende people when allowed to represent and speak for us come 2023. And these he shall achieve through sponsoring of people-oriented bills, making of sound and development- laws and oversight function to engender bountiful attractions of meaningful government’s amenities to improve on the lives of the populaces living in our villages and communities”, the Abia constituents partly concluded.
