Okene Road Crash: Dr. Ozomata Sympathizes with Victims, Prays for Speedy Recovery
A 2023 House of Representatives hopeful for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Dr. Abdullahi Sanni Ozomata has described as unfortunate the accident which occured on Tuesday in Okene Town.
In a statement, Dr. Ozomata commiserates with the Okene truck accident victims and prayed God for the speedy recovery of those injured.
He also prayed for restoration of the business men and women whose goods were destroyed following the ugly incident.
“I commiserate with the families of the accident victims. It was indeed a sad day for our people, my prayers are with them at this trying time, trusting God we will not experience such tragedy again and we will come out of it stronger
“To those whose business premises have been affected, I am so sure that you will all bounce back stronger and better
“Let’s keep hope alive, also I will like to advise that you take advantage of the current NG-Cares Program that the online application is ongoing, it will really go a long way” the statement explained.
On Tuesday, 15th March 2022 in Okene town, a truck ladened with cement lost control few metres away from Zenith Bank which led to destruction of vehicles and shops with many sustaining various degree of injury.
Similarly, another truck ladened with tiles while ascending the hilly axis of the popular Idoji-Checkpoint road lost control and as well, led to the destruction of property.
