African Union Youth Assembly Appoints Dr. Adrian Daisley as Special Envoy.
The Founding Board of Trustees (BOT) and the Executive Chairperson of African Union Youth Assembly (AUYA), have confirmed the appointment of Dr. Adrian Daisley as Special Representative to European Union, EU for observer status.
In a letter addressed to Dr. Daisley, the Board of Trustees said “he will be a powerful voice of the African Youth and young people, and will represent them in the European Union.
The statement further outlined that by his appointment his mandate is to work with the AUYA office of the envoy towards the promotion of the Youth in accordance with to the African Union Youth Charter, Global Peace and Security in Africa and across the globe.
According to the letter of appointment, signed by Hon . Emmanuel Birba said on behalf of coordinating Chief Executive for the Trustee Board and the Security Council, Dr. Daisley was nominated , voted and selectively recommended for the Honour, for having distinguished himself in conduct via valuable humanitarian services-contributions abroad and in his country and region.
Dr. Adrian Daisley who is from Barbados worked in communications, business and people development capacities.
He was said to have shown passion for international business relations and communication to promote and source resources for the Caribbean , LatinAmerica and Africa.
A Former Director of New Business Development with Exper News and CACOMEX-AT in Brazil.
Dr. Daisley , at one time was a country representative for the Caribbean Venture Services Inc.
He has equally served as Public Relations Officer for Caribbean Financial Business and Cultural Association in St. Marteen.
He is currently an Associate Professor Honorary of the Faculty at Global Educational and Professional Excellence Academy, ( GEPEA) from its Central Europe Office cloud campus of the School of International Professional Arts and Humanities Department .
He has many international positions too numerous to be mentioned one was his recent appointment by Birland State as Representative to Barbados in the role Youth Development and Relations.
The Birland Monarchy has congratulated him on the confirmation of his appointment by African Union Youth Assembly, AUYA .
