The people of Edo State has again described Barr Ken Immasuagbon as a grassroot politician with midas touch who is committed to changing lives of his people irrespective of religion and political affiliation.
The group made the commendation on Friday when the legal icon cum grassroot politician visited Ibillo area of Akoko-Edo to distribute rice as part of his usual magnanimity to market women and people.
He was received at Igarra by Hon. Princewill Ogunubi, Hon. Segun, Hon. Andrew Olumide and Hon. Lazarus among others.
He was accompanied to Ibillo where Rice Man and his wife ate in a public open restaurants to the surprise of all who where there for his unassuming nature. From there, the convoy proceeded to the market where everyone started gathering on seeing the ‘Rice Man who comes here yearly to share rice to his people,’
According to one of the beneficiaries, Bose Alufa, who insisted she must speak to the media as way of showing her gratitude.
It was unimaginable sight as the market went into feat of mass excitement as the people went into eruption of songs that were rendered in their native languages in praise of Rice Man.
The rice were shared arbitrarily, for the few who did not get due to the crowd as occasioned by the fact it was a market day, they got cash equivalence.
No doubt, Akoko-Edo is a home to Barr. Ken Immasuagbon as it was evident in the show of love he was showered with, which he relish fondly.
