Akala tasks APC Stakeholders to work toward sustaining the image of APC at grassroot

The Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Urban Development Board, Samuel Akala Gajere, has tasked APC stakeholders of the Panda development area on the need to work towards sustaining the party at the grassroot.

He stated this while presiding over a meeting with APC EXCOs and stakeholders Panda-Kare electoral ward held in Panda, the headquarters of the development area, Sunday.

The meeting between the special adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on the Urban Development Board, Samuel Akala Gajere, and APC stakeholders of the Panda-Kare electoral ward was not unconnected with the forthcoming primary election of the party, to find ways to enhance peaceful exercise.

Akala said the purpose of the meeting was to thank the people of the Panda-Kare electoral ward rallying all-around policies and programs of APC led administration in the state under the stewardship of Governor Abdullahi Sule, urging them to continue supporting the Governor to extend his developmental strides to the area, particularly that of Gitata Panda road which the Governor has promised to award a contract for the construction of the road.

Samuel Akala who is the immediate past Chairman of the Karu local government area enjoined delegates who will partake in the forthcoming APC primaries to cooperate and speak with one voice to enable them to elect candidates that will bring transformation to the state and the party in particular just as he admonished politicians against politics of backbiting and blackmail rather engaging on an issue-based campaign for the smooth conduct of the primaries.

He then charged people of Panda-Kare who do not have voter cards to get registered to enable them to exercise their franchise in the next year’s general election and called on them to tolerate one another irrespective of their differences for development to thrive.

Earlier, the APC chairman, Panda-Kare electoral ward, Alhaji Basiru Uba, the councilor representing the area, Christopher Bako and Bawa Rabo, commended Akala for convening the meeting which according to them will unite members of the party and advised them on the need to respect leaders at all levels.

Some APC stakeholders and party excos described the meeting as a success and promised to respect the resolution reached at the meeting for the progress of the party.

Samuel Akala Gajere also inspected the uncomplicated mosque in Panda that was built by his administration when he was the chairman of the Karu local government area, where prayers were offered for peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups in the area.
